Talent Development Programme

basketballscotland's Talent Development Programme is part of the High Performance Programmes which also comprise the National Squads and Scotland Elite.

The Talent Development Programme (TDP) is designed to increase the standard of players and coaches just below the Scotland National League and Scotland National Squad levels.

Coaches within the National Sqauds are supported by the Performance Coach Development Programme.

Squads operate across Scotland in the Under 13-15 age groups for both girls and boys.

TDP Player Contributions 2009-10

Running a programme of the scale and standard of the Talent Development Programme does require a contribution from the players selected to the programme. The programme is heavily subsidised by basketballscotland and this allows us to reduce the player contribution required to £60 each player.

Talent Development Programme 2009 - Trials

Due to recent postal strikes in various regions, TDP nomination deadline has been extended to Friday 2nd October by 12pm, please return via post, email or fax - details at base of homepage.

Trials being held Sunday 4th October - we will accept players attending who have been unable to meet this deadline, provided they bring with them a completed nomination form to trial. Trials being held Sunday 11th October - nominations to be recieved by basketballscotland prior to this trial date. If you have already sent in your nomination form we look forward to seeing you at trials!
